- Friendly conversation and social companionship
- Playing games, reading, or watching movies together
- Accompanying seniors on walks and to appointments (transportation to be provided by the client or family)
- Grocery shopping and running essential errands
- Emotional support and encouragement
- Assistance with hobbies and recreational activities
- Medication reminders (does not include administering medication)
Does not include
- Administering medications or injections
- Wound care or other medical treatments
- Skilled nursing services
- Personal care such as bathing, dressing, or toileting
- Physical, occupational, or speech therapy
- Transportation services or use of the caregiver's personal vehicle
